In this section we try to answer the most frequently asked questions about the rentals, the arrivals and all the other questions about our services. If you don't find the answer to your question in our list of replies, please don't hesitate to contact us directly.
In Venice Rentalinitaly provides a Meet&Greet service for collecting apartment keys. A local representative will meet you at the public bus station nearest to the apartment and escort you directly to the property. In other destinations you will receive keys directly in front of the rented property from local representative or property owners.
In all our destinations you are requested to inform us about your arrival time in order to fix an appointment with our staff for the key collection. This information can be given at reservation time or at least 5 days prior arrival. Check-in not earlier than 3 p.m. of the confirmed arrival date.
Key collection can take place between 3 p.m. and 7.30 p.m. After 7.30 p.m. the service is not included anymore and payable locally : Euro 55.00 between 7.30 p.m. and 11.30 p.m., Euro 70.00 later than 11.30 p.m.
Rentalinitaly staff will meet you at your property to recollect the keys. (Sometimes you will be requested to leave keys inside the property before your departure.)
Your luggage can be deposited at the Railway Station in Venice, Florence and Rome, or at the Rentalinitaly office if staying in Venice but only from Mondays to Fridays from 9.00 a.m. to 6.00 p.m.
Not in all of our apartments, so it is better to specify it in each request/booking. For all the apartments where pets are allowed we will ask a higher security deposit to cover possible damages.
No, our cleaning staff will come to clean the apartment, the only thing that we ask our clients to do is to clean the dishes (dishes, glasses, pots etc.) and to throw away the rubbish.
Yes, the 30% of the total amount and 30 days before your arrival you will have to pay the balance. For all the last minute reservations (30 days before) you will have to pay the 100% before your arrival.
We have travelling baby cot for maximum 3 years old child, but we do not provide linen for it. Please note that usually it is necessary to pay a supplement for the transport and rental of the baby cot - please ask our booking office.
For Venice reservations we accept Visa and MasterCard.
For Rome and Tuscany reservations we only accept cheques or cash. We do not accept American Express and Diners.
