The flat Gonfalone is situated in one of the most charming neighbourhood of Florence, on the left side of the river Arno, just 5 minutes walking from Ponte Vecchio and right below the Piazzale Michelangelo. San Niccolò is one of the most authentic quarters of Florence, where many Florentines still have their homes and where you can still find small food shops, craftsmen shops and art galleries. In San Niccolò you can find history, art and tradition: historic palaces, small churches, the old medieval walls and towers, and beautiful glimpses of the town and the surrounding hills. This is the perfect starting point for visiting Florence, but also for your walks on the nearby hills, full of churches, gardens and antique streets with beautiful villas. Car parking is easy. The Gonfalone apartment is at the second floor of an antique small building. It has recently been restored and it is composed by a sitting room with a sofa bed, one bedroom with a double bed, a kitchenette and a bathroom with shower.
